Horse Head representin’…

I’m not dead. I promise…

Found this little guy hanging out behind my house on my woodpile.  At first glance I suspected him to be a Hobo Spider…but he’s not.  Turn out he’s a Barn Funnel Weaver or Tegenaria Domestica. Which makes him a close cousin, but harmless in comparison.  The key difference between the two of them?  The Hobo Spider (Tegenaria Agrestis) has solid tan legs where as the Funnel Weaver has tan and brown striped legs.

This is a statue which was erected in honor of the first responders from 9-11.  I don’t really have words to describe accurately the feeling it instills.  I will let you think of your own captions.

Logan Temple.  Still working out some issues, but this photo should be ready for selling by the end of the week.

After that last completely depressing post about Wyoming; here’s some color to amend the sadness.  These are some flowers on the grounds of the Logan LDS Temple.

I-80 in the middle of Wyoming.  This only conjures one word: “Depressing”.  No wonder why there’s more sheep than people.  This place is not a destination; only the awful hell you must pass through to remind you how nice your intended stop will be.  I shutter to think of the prospect of getting stuck here and having to raise a family have half sheep half people babies.  Because after all, behind every tree in southern Wyoming there’s a beautiful woman.
